This four part 'mini-course' in homeopathy will help you learn the basics of prescribing homeopathic remedies for common ailments and first aid situations that families, particularly with children, frequently encounter, such as coughs, fevers, teething, ear infections, bladder infections, food poisoning, burns, insect bites, sprains and strains, injuries and bruises, constipation, stomach flu, and more. We will use an excellent textbook that describes 100 remedies commonly used at home. The course will be grounded in the principles of Classical Homeopathy, based on the Organon of Medicine by Samuel Hahnemann. Participants will gain an appreciation for the complexity of homeopathic prescribing and learn which conditions can be treated at home, and which need professional care.
The first workshop will present an introduction to homeopathy, and will also cover some important remedies to have in your family first aid kit. It will be open to those who are unable to take the entire series but would like to learn more about homeopathy.
